In Q1 2022, the top five navigation and maps apps on the Android platform in Austria showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Google Earth experienced a steady flow in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.8K and peaking at 2.5K in the week of February 21. The app maintained a consistent number of weekly active users, fluctuating between 21.6K and 25.1K throughout the quarter.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector showed a slight decline in weekly downloads from 2.1K in early January to 1.2K by the end of March. Weekly revenue saw a peak of approximately $833 at the start of the quarter, with a dip to around $255 in early February before stabilizing around $500 towards the end of March. Active users ranged from 7.1K to 8.3K, with a noticeable drop in mid-March.

Active users saw a sharp increase from 3K in late February to over 6.2K in early March, followed by a decline to 2.6K by the end of the quarter.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation maintained a stable weekly download rate, averaging around 1K downloads throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue was modest, peaking at $8 in mid-March. Active users consistently hovered around 2.7K to 3.1K.
